The bulbs between the cherry and apple trees up on the allotment bank have flowered in the last couple of weeks. Here's a little picture diary of their progress so far:

I know that I planted bluebells and they will start flowering soon, but I don’t remember planting these lovely little yellow tete-a-tete daffodils
What a springtime treat!
There are other clear signs of spring up at the plot. The wildlife are obviously feeling frisky
As a result all the ponds are full of frogspawn, and the butterflies are abundant already

And here's a lovely field of crocus flowers that I spied in one of the gardens on my way home

Hi Scarlett, I thought there had to be a reason for your absence from blogging. Glad you are feeling so much better now and I do agree with you, time spent on the allotment is healing and calming. Time spent very near God's earth and nature heals the soul and gives it time to step back and regenerate. I look forward to reading you allotment stories soon.
Best wishes
Thanks Peggy. I've learned that we sensitive folk feel everything very deeply, the joys and the lows - working with the earth grounds us and is always the best healing.
BTW, Happy St Patrick's Day - one day late but better than never!
